Google+ Auto Backup for Windows

This afternoon, Picasa updated and with it, a welcome feature — Google+ Auto Backup for Windows.

Similar to the Android version, you can set folders to be backed up to Google+.  The only caveat is photos over 2048×2048 eat your Google storage, so if you have a large photo library and don’t have a lot of Google space will probably need to subscribe for more space.  Fortunately, the settings app tells you how much space will be used vs how much you have available as well as a button to get more storage.
